Detail: DEX06 (7th Interior Design Exhibition) and ARCHITEX06 (3rd Architectural and Buil- ding Exhibition) were another success with a turnout of 21,000 visitors recorded during 6 - 9 July at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia. This year C.I.S Network Sdn Bhd jointly organised the exhibition with PAM (Pertu-buhan Akitek Malaysia/ Malaysian Institute of Architects), while DEX06 was co-organised with IPDM (Institut Perekabentuk Dalaman Malaysia/ Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers). The exhibition was included in the PAM 2006 Convention by Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia/Malaysia Architects Association, and was officiated by YB Dato' Seri S. Samy Vellu, Ministry of Works, Malaysia who described it of international standards. DEX06, organised for the seventh conse-cutive year, while ARCHITEX06 was in its third year, synergised well and symbolised the gateway to a comprehensive and specialised exhibition for the architecture, interior design and building industries. According to Vincent Lim, President of C.I.S Network Sdn Bhd, "DEX06 and ARCHITEX06 are the important business point for the relevant professionals to get the latest products and ideas". The exhibition was held in four halls of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and showcased an extensive range of the latest for the architecture, interior design and building industry. More than 460 booths were showcased with 160 local and foreign exhibitors. Introduced for the first time this year was the New Product category with more than 50 new products featured by 31 exhibitors, all vying for the New Product Award.
