Detail: In 2005 the Bulgarian apparel and textile industry kept the levels of production and export from 2004. On the background of the liberalisation of the international trade and the increase of expenditure on production this can be considered a success. This sector continues to be exceptionally export orientated, but more and more companies focus on developing export of own products instead of working on CMT basis and aim to establish their own trademark on the Bulgarian market. From 4th to 6th of October 2007 in the halls of Inter Expo & Congress Center – Sofia the 5th edition of Balkan Gate Apparel and Textile Exhibition will take place.
