It is the ultimate destination to source a wide variety of wares put up on display by over 450 leading manufacturers and exporters from all over India.The First Indian Furniture & Accessories Show was organized from 10-13 March 2006 showcasing products for homes, gardens, offices and hotels in a variety of designs in wood, cane & bamboo, cast iron, etc.

 Featuring a total of 450 exhibitors in Marts and halls, this event offered a unique opportunity for buyers to explore the widest product range from all over India. Furniture at display reflected the rich legacy of traditional Indian workmanship blended into innovative designs. The Show, showcased the finest in Indian craftsmanship and artistic finish in perfect harmony with modern designs, contemporary finishes and new product development.The range on display includes entire gamut of bedroom, living room, dining, and children's room, kitchen, classroom, garden, beach and restaurant furniture. Special highlights on display are eco-friendly utility cane articles from the North Eastern States of India. The show offered an unmatched opportunity to departmental store chains and specialty stores, mail order/catalogue house, furniture retailers, interior designers, importers and distributor of home products, wholesalers/distributors, on-line retailers, mass merchandisers, TV home shopping programs, import export firms, buying offices, design/lifestyle stores, etc. to source the finest from India. Around 600 buyers visited from across the globe spanning USA, Canada, Europe, Latin America, Australia and Asia. There was also a sizeable media representation from various countries.

  The feedback of the buyers was very encouraging and showed interest in the entire concepts rather than the stand-alone pieces. Dining tables, resting chairs and lounge sets in dark hues were very well received. Also the rugs received a good response. Cane-like thin fibre in Assam, water hyacinth (matka) processed & painted in blue and several other shades for making stools was also appreciated.
