Exhibition name:JAIMA SHOW 2011
Organiser:Japan Analytical Instruments Manufacturers' Association (JAIMA)
venue:Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Halls No.4, 5 and 6
Detail: Japan Analytical Instruments Manufacturers Association, JAIMA, which represents Japan s major sources of analytical instruments. The products offered by JAIMA member firms, featuring advanced technologies designed to meet the needs of modern industry and scientific research, cover a broad range of analytical instruments for use in research laboratories, process control, pollution monitoring, occupational health and safety, in-vitro diagnostic clinical applications, and laboratory automation. Despite the fact that Japan s economic downturn has reduced investment in plant and equipment in many industries, the total output of JAIMA member firms and their export figures have increased over the past few years. JAIMA is proud of the fact that every member company of our association is working hard to supply innovative products that respond to the latest needs, which in turn supports the recovery of the economy. Many of our member firms are expanding their business activities overseas and are not only exporting their products to the world s markets but also establishing international companies. In this connection, JAIMA often acts as liaison for the international exchange of technical and marketing information. JAIMA also promotes special studies, the preparation of drafts for industrial standards, and user support activities in the fields of analytical instrumentation and instrumental analysis. I am certain that thorough those various activities JAIMA will continue to contribute to the progress of international cooperation in the future, too. I sincerely hope that this guidebook will give you a deeper understanding of JAIMA and its member firms, and a broader view of the analytical instrument industry in Japan. http://www.jaimashow.jp/
