Natural Products Asia 2007's core objective is to bring more choices and options direct to the growing Asia market. According to a survey done by AC Nielsen in 2005, the Asia Pacific region is one of the biggest purchasers of organic products, surpassing the global average number of organic consumption. As Asia grows in affluence, the Asian buyer is better informed about different lifestyles and makes concerted choices relevant to obtain a healthier and more holistic approach towards life. He does not hesitate to use his economic clout to demand the quality, type, availability and even to some extent, the price of his purchases.

At the same time, government bodies are encouraging natural and organic cultivation and production, as they recognize both the economic potential and the conservation benefits for their local producers and market.
