Detail: About the fair From March 21 to 24, 2007 the II version of PESCA SUR will take place in Talcahuano (VIII Region); the meeting point of the international fishing industry that is proving to be the most important in the Southern Hemisphere. The goal of the show, organized by TechnoPress S.A., is to become the principal meeting point of the national and international fisheries community, along with the AQUA SUR show.During the first version, the event brought together 450 businesses coming from 34 countries and registered 5,400 singular visitors. For 2007, the participation of 550 companies and more than 7,000 visitors is anticipated. Investors, businessmen, financial entities, producers, and suppliers, among other important actors of the sector, will meet in the Event Center Sur Activo, where the latest tendencies in equipment for the fishing industry, new technologies for fish meal and fish oil processing plants, as well as new products and services will be exhibited.
