Exhibition name:PVTECH EXPO 2011
Organiser:Artenergy Srl
venue:Nuova Fiera di Roma
Detail: From 11 to 15 November 2007 at the New Rome Fair Centre the 4th edition of PVTECH EXPO, the International Exhibition of the photovoltaic industry will take place. PVTECH EXPO, for the first time in Rome, will be held in the contest of the WEC, World Energy Congress, the 20th edition of the event dedicated to energy, at which a whole pavillon, organized and promoted exclusively by Artenergy Publishing, will be reserved for renewable energies. In Italy, the photovoltaic sector is starting to show significant signs of development, enough to hope that by the end of 2006 more than ten megawatts should have been installed, double the figure for 2005. The Italian regions that have used the most FV power are Lombardia (119 plants for 684 kW), Emilia Romagna (569kW) and Veneto (497 kW). It is possible to estimate that photovoltaic power could be increased from the 35-40 MW to more than 50 MW by the end of 2006. Considering the good situation of the sector in Italy, it can be expected that 2007 will mark a further improvement with 50-60 MW. This development will promote investments in the sector since the new sector operators will start to produce cells and modules. http://www.pvtech.it/
