Exhibition name:Saudi Agriculture 2011
Organiser:Riyadh Exhibitions Company (REC)
venue:Riyadh Exhibition Centre
Detail:

The Saudi agriculture sector is a story of astonishing success. Generous government loans and subsidies to agriculture professionals and investors have helped the Kingdom's agriculture sector expand rapidly. Today in Saudi Arabia, hundreds of thousands of hectares of desert have been turned into arable land, the Kingdom has become a self-sufficient wheat exporter, and the agriculture sector employs the latest machinery, equipment and tools.

Saudi Arabia exports its wheat, vegetables, dairy products and a broad range of produce, to countries across the Gulf and the world. At one point, Saudi Arabia was the seventh biggest wheat exporter in the world. Every year, the Kingdom produces hundreds of thousands of tons of dates. The expansion of Saudi Arabia's agriculture sector has translated, as well, into the production of agricultural byproducts, such as oil, which are also exported.

Saudi Agriculture 2007, held on an indoor and outdoor area of 15,000m², will host over 200 exhibitors from more than 20 countries. It will offer agro-industry and water technology professionals and investors from around the world a perfect chance to mingle with Saudi buyers, fellow-investors, distributors and suppliers, while consolidating brand image and gaining unparalleled exposure for new cutting-edge products, to thousands upon thousands of trade visitors. Participants at this annual rendez-vous for the world's leading agro-industry executives and decision makers will be able to strike up contacts with those Saudi agro-industry professionals and public figures who can streamline business initiatives and help establish all the right business-advancing contacts
