| Detail: UzBuild is a leading annual exhibition of building materials and construction equipment in Uzbekistan. It is carried out by the ITE Uzbekistan company, a partner of the British Exhibition Company ITE Exhibitions & Conferences Ltd. In Russia, ITE conducts the largest construction forums – MosBuild and BalticBuild – and a number of similar exhibitions with a general name "BUILD" in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Mongolia, Tajikistan and other CIS countries and Eastern Europe. The UzBuild exhibition to be held on 13-16 March, 2007 traditionally opens 'the construction season' in Uzbekistan, since in spring, after short winter frosts, the builders begin to procure construction materials and equipment, consult manufacturers of construction materials, and make contracts for procurement of equipment, finishing materials and construction works. And most of individuals would also prefer to have their accommodation facilities renovated during the warm and dry season. In Uzbekistan warm weather is well known to set in March. Generally, UzBuild 2007 demonstrates the most recent trends and novelties in the market of construction materials and technology. The exhibition is subdivided into different thematic sections thus making it more convenient for visitors to get acquainted with specific parts of the exposition. The most popular sections among the specialists are as follows: Building & Construction Materials, Building Equipment, Road-Building Machinery, Heat & Vent, Windows & Doors, Saunas & Swimming Pools, Sanitary-ware, Ceramics & Stone, Varnishes & Paints, Roofing Materials, Flooring, Lighting & Electrical Engineering, Electric Tools, Interiors, Gardening and Landscape. Since the first UzBuild exhibition held in 2000 the number of its participants and visitors is increasing from year to year. Some 35,000 specialists and more than 350 exhibitors from 27 countries throughout the world have visited UzBuild for the period of 7 years. In many aspects such a great interest reflects current trends in the market of construction and finishing materials. Intensive construction and reconstruction activity is now underway in Uzbekistan, as well. A great attention is paid to improve the appearance of the capital and other cities throughout the country. A good investment climate, particularly 3 year exemption of construction and building-and-assembly companies from VAT and customs duties for imported construction equipment and machinery contributes to strengthening and development of trade and economic relations and to further integration into the world economy |
