Detail: ARTEFIERA ART FIRST is a unique event where visitors can explore the latest trends in the world of modern and contemporary art through the proposals of more than 200 leading international galleries. At the same time it is a major opportunity to directly experience art in the exhibition centre and in the city of Bologna, which is hosting a wide range of initiatives specially for the more than 40,000 visitors to the show. Bologna Art First (Arte Fiera 2006) is a joint project between the City of Bologna and Arte Fiera, intended to highlight the close ties between Italy s leading contemporary art fair and the host city. BOLOGNA ART FIRST offers visitors an opportunity to discover contemporary art and Bologna s artistic and cultural heritage through an unprecedented tour, surrounded by the traditional hospitality and welcome that the city has always bestowed on its visitors. At ARTEFIERA ART FIRST, international visitors will be able to admire modern/contemporary art works at the finest venues in the city of Bologna.
