Detail: The Internationale Handwerksmesse has been held in spring every year since 1949 – a unique trade fair event with the worldwide reputation of being a driving force behind the craft trades. With its motto "The entire world of the craft trades", this multi-sector fair shows a broad range of equipment and supplies for small and medium-sized enterprises in Europe, as well as presenting the diverse product range of European craft trade businesses. The Internationale Handwerksmesse also serves the craft trades as a channel for political communication.   In addition to IHM PROFI and IHM PRIVAT, the Internationale Handwerksmesse includes MBKplus. As a trade fair for technology, workshop equipment and tools, IHM PROFI (halls B 0 to B 3) is aimed at specialists from a wide range of craft trades. The Autoschau in hall B 0 offers you a broad range of private cars. With its focus on personal lifestyle and living space, IHM PRIVAT (halls A 1 to A 4) specialises in arts and crafts as well as craft trade services for a quality-conscious public. IHM AUTOSCHAU presents both cars for private use and commercial vehicles. Butchers, bakers and confectioners attend MBKplus (hall B 6)every two years to keep up-to-date in their specialist fields.   In 2008, the Internationale Handwerksmesse will be taking an important step by reducing the duration of IHM PROFI to 5 days. IHM PROFI will therefore be held from Thursday, February 28th 2008 until Monday, March 3rd 2008.   This adjustment responds to the needs of IHM PROFI exhibitors and visitors for a more specialist focus, as well as sharpening the profile of all sections of the Internationale Handwerksmesse.   http://www.ihmprivat.de/
