| Detail: The recent LIWSF 07 was a resounding success, with an increased attendance of 13,691 individuals and exhibitor re-bookings for 2008 at an all time high. Enrico Bonaldo, head sommelier Rhodes 24 asked, "How could the wine fair not be great? New vintages of all the wines, samples from all your suppliers, meeting the producers, it's a great opportunity to see what is out there. One of my favourite aspects is putting different suppliers up against each other, comparing similar wines between them and seeing who comes out on top." The hot news for 2008 will be the launch of Distil a new event dedicated to the business of spirits which will run opposite the Wine Fair in the north halls at ExCeL. |
