As the debut installment of PROMOTION WORLD drew to a close, both exhibitors and organizers expressed their satisfaction with the run of the event.
 As a new trade fair for promotional products and incentives, PROMOTION WORLD was staged from 24 to 28 April in Hall 10, parallel to HANNOVER MESSE. Spotlighting new ideas for creative customer retention, the event featured a total of 144 exhibitors on some 3 670 square meters of display space.
"PROMOTION WORLD represents an attractive enhancement to HANNOVER MESSE," declared Sepp D. Heckmann, Chairman of the Managing Board at Hannover-based Deutsche Messe AG. "A high percentage of decision-makers are among our exhibitors and visitors at HANNOVER MESSE, and this is the target group we have successfully reached with PROMOTION WORLD," he added.
A total of 20 000 professional attendees - primarily from sales and marketing, advertising and PR, senior management echelons and procurement - attended the tradeshow for promotional products and incentives. 38 percent of attending professionals reported coming to PROMOTION WORLD with concrete purchases in mind.
