| Detail: During recent years Uzbekistan launched new transport routes in addition to existing ones: for example, particularly in the South and south-western directions (in the north direction). Technical park of aircrafts, locomotives, train cars, and automobiles was renewed. A large number of infrastructural objects underwent modernization. Today, the Republic has more diversified accesses to world markets. And work on widening of these possibilities this direction is actively continued. Investment projects in transport industry such as Improvement of passenger railway transport / Reconstruction of railways of Uzbekistan / Renewal of locomotive fleet / Modernization of diesel locomotives and reconstruction of foundries are being implemented in the country.   The freight turnover was fulfilled for 100 % and has come to 13 billion 342 million tons-kilometers.
