| Detail: The 7th PALMTM India Expo and Conference was the best ever Expo that happened in Mumbai. The PALMTM was launched in 2001 at the Nehru Science Centre in response to the Pro Audio Industry which was displaced and had no show or platform to perform. This year the conference was very informative and superb. The www.palmindiaexpo.com website has full details of the speakers and topics covered, which extended to AV Install, FM Radio, Amplifiers, Speakers, setting up your own Project Studios, Music Publishing rights, Interconnectivity, Desk top studios, Line Arrays and the like. Also, there were workshops on guitar repairing and digital pianos. Mackie did a workshop on setting up a desk top studio and their user friendly equipment. The PALMTM show had the most extensive exhibits from 81 exhibitors displaying a wide array of instruments from HDMI cables, connectors, digital mixers, line arrays, interfaces, voice processors, plug ins, converters, studio clocks, microphones, MIDI controller, turntables, professional studio monitors, passive speakers, speaker systems, sound effects, tmc: drives for radio, wireless communication systems, lighting controllers, amplifiers, flight cases, sound cards, to DJ gear and the widest range of electronic and acoustic musical instruments under the sun. Exhibitors and Visitors More than 10,000 visitors were attracted to the Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC) and nearly 45 percent of the visitors and conference delegates were from outside Mumbai. They came from Assam, New Delhi, Bangalore, Gujarat, U.S.A, and Malaysia and almost from everywhere. Actually, the PALMTM visitor profile is very strong on the dealers and distributors side that form a part of a huge network of the largest pro audio companies like Narain Pro Audio, Audio Plus, M Audio, Rivera International, R&S, Furtados, Premier Industrial Importers, Pine Creek Technology, M-Audio and many, many others. Major international companies and brands have now decided to participate in the PALMTM 2008, convinced about the visitor profile, the strength of visitors and their absolute patronage of only the PALM expo organised by Pro Sound Systems magazine. They have a clear intention to be part of this movement http://www.palmindiaexpo.com/ |
